Teaching Assistant – Full Time

Salary: (depending on experience) £20,524 - £22,189 - FTE (£23,976 - £25,921)

Willow Park School is a small, independent SEND primary school for children aged 5–11 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN). With just 12 pupils currently on roll, we offer a highly personalised and nurturing learning environment where every child is known, valued, and supported to thrive.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team full-time. You will play a vital role in supporting pupils’ learning and wellbeing, working closely with teachers and other professionals to deliver high-quality education tailored to individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Support teaching and learning activities, including small group and individual interventions.

Contribute to planning, assessment, and classroom organisation.

Promote positive behaviour and safeguard pupil wellbeing.

Take on additional responsibilities such as Key Person or Subject Leadership roles.

Willow Park School is legally obligated to process an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before making appointments to relevant posts.
The DBS check will reveal both spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands and final warnings, and any other information held by local police that’s considered relevant to the role. Any information that is “protected” under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 will not appear on a DBS certificate.
