E Safety

Keeping everyone at Willow Park safe,

online and in the digital world

Together we can make sure it’s safe for every child to go online.

This page contains lots of helpful information for parents and children to help keep everyone safe online.

The school can help but there are also lots of organisations (as you'll see below) which provide help and support, especially the NSPCC. They are here to support parents with online safety advice, and they are also there  for children – to protect them and help them recover from abuse.

The internet is a fantastic place overflowing with knowledge, games and communities of people, and, adults and children often spend a great deal of time using the internet.

We value computing within our school and encourage our children to experience different ways of accessing modern technology.

This is why it is important pupils learn how to be safe when browsing online and becoming members of online communities. The online safety of our children is of paramount importance to the school and something that we monitor and revisit regularly.

  • Always let a member of staff know at school if you are concerned about your child's online safety.

  • Talk to your child and listen to them. They live in a very different world to what today's adults experienced when they were children so we need to learn what it's like for them.
